First Time DUI offense:

In case of a Tempe DUI related crime, the penalty handed down to an accused depends mainly on two factors, the type of Tempe DUI that was charged, which is dependent on the gravity of the crime or offense, and on the criminal record of the accused.

In case of being a first Tempe DUI the following applies:
10 days jail, but 9 may be suspended if successfully complete alcohol classes. 24 straight hours in jail must first be served. Remainder 9 days must be served if don’t complete alcohol classes within 6 months of release

In addition, Fines and Fees can total around $1490. A suspension of your license for 90 days. For Drug, License Suspension for 1 year. 1st Time DUI §28-1381 Can be either: Impaired to the Slightest Degree Above a .08, Any drug, Any drug metabolite.
